"Sometimes life's greatest
gifts come wrapped in fur."
   ~ Nancy Johnson

This book is a celebration of dogs
in foster care written by Nancy
Johnson, who has volunteered for
years to care for dogs as they
wait for their
forever homes.
Nancy has gathered a collection
of stories and photos of the dogs
that she and other dog-loving
volunteers have cared for.
You will find reflections written by
the families about what life has
been like since these dogs were
adopted into their homes.
RECYCLED LOVE:
foster dogs have tales too
"Four years ago, Johnson made a life altering decision to become a foster care mom for
dogs in need. Since she started, over twenty five dogs have been welcomed into her
home.  She has provided each one with a safe environment and tender care. In exchange,
each unique canine personality has returned her compassion with trust, love, and humor.
Johnson conveys the important stories behind each wayward dog in her book, Recycled
Love: foster dogs have tales too".
